adminKeymasterHmm, so what would you add then? Feel free to share your knowledge.
adminKeymasterAmazing. I love it and the creation. Thumbs up, this can be very successful in the future.
adminKeymasterHi,
RCCB: Stands for Residual Current Circuit Breaker. It is also known as Residual Current Device (RCD). RCCB senses the difference between current values in phase and neutral and breaks the circuit in case of an imbalance. In ideal situations, the current flowing through phase (hot) wire equals the returning current in the neutral. However, in case of fault conditions such as an earth fault the current flowing through neutral would not be same as flowing through phase and hence it trips the circuit.
ELCB: Stands for an Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker, is used to protect the circuit from an earth fault. It is an old protection system based on voltage based protection device. It is nowadays replaced by RCCB.
ELCB is connected between the circuit and the system earthing system. It is a voltage operated device and detects any rise in potential between the circuit and the system earth and trips the circuit.RCBO: Residual Circuit Breaker with Overload. Is a circuit breaker that offers both Residual Current and Overload protection in one single device.
GFCI: Stands for Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter. It is another name for RCCB/RCD. This term is used in USA whereas RCCB/RCD term is used in UK and Europe. Functioning of both is much the same.
adminKeymasterHello,
Then we’d be happy to have your contribution and to receive your own observations and articles/tutorials. You can reach us by mail.
Have a nice day!
adminKeymasterHi,
Thanks for your comment. Concerning your question, you should read the article about how to choose an inverter right there: http://engineering.electrical-equipment.org/electrical-distribution/how-to-choose-the-right-type-of-inverter.html
adminKeymasterHi Vivian,
Maximum output is usually taken in terms of the efficiency of inverter. Hence in order to increase the efficiency of inverter, the main thing to be considered is the pure sine wave generation. Usually inverters generate modified sine wave which causes the dissipation of energy. In order to increase the life of inverter use high quality components. Attach ink with component especially with the IC regulators and also add a small fan.
adminKeymasterMe i am planning to study more about it in school and hopefully learn a lot about transformer.
adminKeymasterHi guys,
Before asking to receive the code, please read the guidelines http://engineering.electrical-equipment.org/electrical_calculation_tools You have to share a tool first.
adminKeymasterHi,
The transformer has multiple of application in rectifier but if offers its own limitation. Few limitations of center tapped transformers are as follows:
1. Transformer Utilization Factor (TUF)
TUF of center-tapped transformers in full-wave rectifiers (0.693) is less than that of ordinary transformers in bridge rectifiers (0.812).
2. Core Saturation
Saturation of core is another drawback of this type of transformers as only one sided flow of flux is allowed which causes early core saturation as compared to ordinary transformers in which opposite directional flux cancels net effect.
3. Efficiency
It is a fact that in center-tapped transformers half of the secondary coil is used at a time, while the other half remains unused. This results as a reduction in the efficiency and therefore ordinary transformers are regarded as more efficient.
4. Cost and Size
Center-tapped transformers give half of the voltage across its secondary as output. In other words rating of a center-tapped transformer has to be twice of the desired output. Therefore center-tapped transformers are costly and occupy more space.
adminKeymasterDefinitely agree with this in Finland they are doing it well for their customer however the sähkön hinnat or electricity price is increase which some people disagree and agree about it.
adminKeymasterFor me this is the great time on learning more about transformer because i already forgot something about it.
adminKeymasterThat seem quite complicated but then it is a perfect transformer to some people.Well in Finland i notice that many people choose a transformer that really fits for all their electronics stuff on giving low or high amount of electricity.Well now a days i am studying more about on öljymuuntaja or transformer oil or other transformer in order to see how good is having a transformer in house without having a problem in other electronic material at home.
adminKeymasterTo be honest i never thought that we are been really developing well in energy it is amazing to read and learn from this.
adminKeymasterMe too i am totally agree with this.Cheap circuit breaker might be weak and also strong and as an electrician i always recommend branded and quality in this kind of matters.
