    Dear all experts,

     

    there is some confusion in my mide related to power factor improvement. we don't use our APFC panel when we take supply from our own DG. according to me if we are using our self genrating device then there is no need to use APFC,because in such condition  penalty might not be imposed by state electricity board.

    Is der any other reason….this might be silly question..bt please kindly suggest..
