I am handling a project with a site footprint of 100mx30m. The estimate electrical load is 2610kVA which are basically building E&M loads at 415V. We are tapping our supply from a 33kV network with a fault level of 25kA. My electrical designer proposes two 1500 or 2000kVA 33kV/415V transformers. I am wondering if we can go for one 3000kVA transformer instead to save space and cost.

Can somebody give me some suggestion.

    Thanks

    Dear omega

A 3000kva may have high cost as compare tow same rated value transformers.
