    Good day, we have an exixting transformer 37.5 kv rating, is it sufficient to use on our new load with a total of 62,000 watts. thanks waiting for ur reply

    Dear,

     

    You can not use the same.

     

    Reason:

    Existing capacity : 37.5 KVA (Hope you forget to mention A)

    To convert in KW : 37.5 x 0.8 = 30 KW

     

    Whereas our new load is 62 KW

    Your question is not complete. 37.5kv identify voltage of the original transformer, 62,000 watts identify the power rating of the second transformer. did you intend to say 37.5 KVA, If that is so, the answer is NO.
