Greetings.

I want to know the interpretation of TAN DELTA test result in a rotating machine and its implications on the life of the machine.And also,how to improve the result?Exactly,what information it gives regarding the machine?After testing Surge comparator test,Polarisation index test,IR test,HV test,is there any necessity to go for TAN DELTA test in a 6.6.KV HT motor.IS there any cut off value for dissipation factor?What is dissipation factor in TAN DELTA Test.Is there any standard for TAN DELTA test?Kindly explain.
