I am an electronics technician in the Navy and I am currently working on my Associates of the Arts degree with intentions of transferring to another university to get my electronics or electrical engineering degree. I would be very grateful for the advice of experienced electrical/electronics engineers as to what core classes I should take. My main areas of concern are Mathematics and Physical Sciences. I have currently completed College Algebra. I am pretty sure I will need to take Physics I With Calculus, but the University recommends taking general Physics I for people who have no prior Physics experience. Also, Calculus with Analytic Geometry is a prerequisite for the Physics class. I would need to take Trigonometry and Precalc before I could even think about taking that right? Would someone mind shedding some light on this for me? Thank you very much.
