Power Transformer

Hi. sir  I am A building Electrical Maintenance, one day i have notice in our power transformer rated 36750 Volts. there is a sound i thnk arcing sound in the primary side. my question is this sound is are normal in a transformer ,specially in power transformer? or there is a possibility that the transformer will shut down someday?

Hello, no it s not normal at all, try to consult with manufacturer there is some routine test that they could investigate your transformers during this tests.
