    I am Working as a Jr.Electrical Engineer in a private Concern, and i want to know the direct formula for calculating the Cable size.

    You have to tell us what kind of plants you have to work. In alternating current, or continuous, low voltage, medium voltage or high voltage. Give us some more details.

    For proper sizing we have to know the following :

    (1) the equipment u want to power

    (2) the current u are using (DC OR AC)  and d Voltage u intend to apply

    with these details i think your question will be answered.
