I want to discuss a practical case of three phase induction motor.

Due to faliure in H.V three coils have been by passed out of 120.And a high no load power is taken from motor, specifiacly 68% more than it should. No load power is increased by 3Amps which is okay. There are 4 parallel paths in the machine.

I want to know the exact reason why this much no load power is taken.

Also do the bypassing of coils increase the magnetic noise?
