KeymasterHow much power will consume by a one ton a/c ? voltage 220 v single phase. And what will be the current if it is 2 phase?

Keymasteras per std. ton/ac unit at 220 v , it would take around 3.5 kw .
for 2 phase system , load kw will be come down .
why not u go for std. manufacturer catalog, where u will get all necessary inf. for each ton of ac unit .
thanks

Keymaster1 ton airconditioner ( 12000BTU/Hr) at 220volts 60 hz total line current rating between 6 to 8 amperes ( max for 1Ø and for 3Ø devide it with 1.73 ) it depend on ambient temperature the higher the temperature the higher the current, example 8Ax220V= 1760 watts

The value of 1.73 comes from the square root of 3. That means √3=1.73205
