My water pump which suppplies water from the ground floor to the top floor doesn't start immediately when i switch it on. Instead, it takes time to do so. What can be the problem?? Also, the pressure of water reaching the overhead tank is decreasing day by day. Infact, today it took 3hrs to fill the 500litre tank.
One thing i'd like to mention. One of neighbourgh's washing machine water outlet disperses in the area, in which my pump is situated. Though the water doesn't directly splash on the motor, but increases the moisture content there immensively.
OfflineYou should install the motor of higher rating.
Motor takes time to start is because of the overloading.
