Hi,
I'm moving somewhere with no mains power supply. There will be solar power for most things, but I know that a fridge left on 24x7x365 would drain that source. So I am looking for an alternate power source for just the fridge. At my place of work I can charge batteries. I am looking at running a standard fridge (off of a high watt 12v to 220v inverter) that has a power consumption of:
Energy consumption: 211.7 kWh/year I'm thinking of purchasing x2 industrial deep cycle batteries to run this, one for powering the fridge, the other one on charge at work where I have normal mains power to recharge the battery once flat, swapping the batteries over once one runs flat.
A battery I have found is 250AH.
The question is, how long roughly will x1 industrial 250AH battery power a fridge with the above rating for?
