Hello,
During upcoming weekend Generator testing, I'm having all occupants unplug as much as possible. Can anyone give me idea's for other PM's to conduct while my building (2 Million sqft) under a light load?
Hi,
Your question is not clear, are you talking about what other PM jobs you would do on your generator or the building while testing the generator? Anyway, for generator, the OEM normally provide PM lists to perform for every particular RH (Running Hours). You only need to follow this list. The same procedures and precautions are provided when testing the generator.

usually for no load testing of gen. set., please make sure that the operation hours is not more than 30 minutes because at no – load conditions (1) speed is almost ideal 1500 rpm (50Hz) and (2) more reactive power than active power produces by of alternator of gen. set (3) switched off all incoming and outgoing Air Circuit breaker (4) checked output voltage from gen. set. (5) if output voltage of gen. set is arounf 415V, at 50Hz (6) switched on incoming ACB (7) checked voltage and frequency and if stable (8) switch on outgoing ACB from Main switch board.
any specific matters, you can ask via e-mail: firasah@streamyx.com
