Hi all,
When a dry type air compressor is started, electrical panel is getting tripped.
Details:
90Kw screw air compressor
Incomer – Air circuit breaker 1250A
LSIG ABB Air circuit breaker.
Starter : Star delta starter
When compressor is switched ON, ACB is getting tripped. When I checked the ACB, indication is showing in ‘G’- ground fault which is set at 0.4*In. But after resetting the breaker, when I start the compressor, it is functioning normally. Also ‘L’ overcurrent indication is also blinking. What is the actual cause? How to rectify it?
