    Earthing is used in european electrical installation standards (IEC)

    Grounding is used in US electrical installation standards (NEC, UL)

    But both are describing the same idea.

     

    For vocabulary question,  Electropedia also known as the “IEV Online” (International Electrotechnic vocabulary) is very useful.

    true, by definition is both the same, only in the usage between mostly american and british uses a different wording..
