how we can decide that , the current taken by each of the two cable for the following data?
cable 1:- 70 mm square, 80 meter length
cable 2:- 35 mm square ,80 meter length
for both cable max. load is 80KW.
OPERATING VOLTAGE FOR BOTH CABLE IS 415 V
The current support by the cable depend of the material, aluminium or copper. In France we have document like this (http://www.esl-france.com/script/edito/article.asp?editoId=3&ContenuId=189&editoIdRef=2) that we permit to derterminate the right cable.
