I would like to tell fresher or junior electrical engineer about improvement.

I think, first we should review our basic theory such as circuit analysis, transient, power system fault analysis etc.

Second, we should choose one of the electrical fields such as transformer field, generator field, protection field, LV switchgear, HV switchgear, wiring installation, processing control system etc.

Third, we should collect the reference books, and search the websites, it
opens the doors to a wide range of knowledge and information in   a short period of time.

Please add your advice,

Best Regard,

Win Han

I am assistant lecturer, who is teaching lecturs about electrical engineering of technical university.I want to suggest to improvement  our knowledge.Firstly you need know basic theories of electrical circuits, machines, etc and then more need to know about electrical power system.I want to advise to get these books ,but i don't remember authors.I think it's easy to find.

Electricians know at all

1000 Electrical facts

Engineering circuits analysis I & II

Machines theory

Standard electrical power installations and distribution

Hello ,

I may suggest some reference book which might help to improve your tec skill. i had taken that exp so u people may also preffer S.RAO for testing and commissioning operation & maintenance of electrical equipment. electrical design system MADE SIMPLE by Rajiv Shankar…many more stuff related to practical field u can get in this..

i will suggest for final year student..take ur study seriously..make clear all concept of all rotating electrical machine,Transforemer.do practice on numerical on all that that will help you when u will cum in field…

Thanks

Hello,

Theoritically ( On school learning) is very differ from experience on field. Only 10%  learned on the school that can apply in the real life of emplyment. Therefore, For a new grad or senior student you study welll and not to be very serious… Enjoy your collegue time and respect your parents by finishing your study with a good grades that's all. Be an Sr. Elect. Engineer workingin the field of oil and gas  handling Power sytem study including Detailed up to construction i applied the basic foundation of enginnering tools in most cases. A lot of enginnering softwwre migh be learn during employment and learn a lot of thing from your collegeu or other people meet with more experience than you. In future, You will become a successful enginner by your own way of style and keep on reading which gives more knowledge.

That's all folks.

you have to read the basic of electricity availablr on net. You cannot decide by your own way. You have always consider the NEC code ( english sytem) and IEC ( metric system) when sizing the racewya, cable tray and JB. The cable arrangment on tray or raceway is always considering the derating factor ( depending on ambent. temp). High voltage and low voltage cable with single or multi-cable to be consider. High voltage cable always in three-foil formation pahse intact ech other to avoid heating of cable . Multi cable ( depending on type of sytem) Power or control can be mixing somehow depends on the voltage level. 80% filling for mixing cables.

You cn the requirements above mentioned if you want to learn more….

Thats all mate
